67208354_2448841141806106_9018606941282238464_nWe are pleased to announce that Friends of the Lenoir City Library was the recipient of our giving circle donation at our last meeting on July 22. The Lenoir City Public Library is an important part of our community. The librarian is working hard to make sure our public library contributes to the literacy and health of all of our community, especially the children in our community. They were so grateful for our donation.

When our first round of donations was dropped off, our leadership watched as a father read books to his daughter on his lap in the Children’s Area and librarian, Susan Dorsey, said,

“I’ve never seen a group have that much power to affect real change so quickly. You all seriously changed our library’s children’s outreach program for years in just one hour! You all are amazing!”
That is is exactly what we are all about! 100 Women. 1 Hour. 10,000 Dollars. Local Impact!
