Congratulations to United Way of Loudon County!
The recipient of our November 18th giving circle was United Way of Loudon County. United Way of Loudon County is an independent affiliate governed by a local board and committed to the stability, education, and health of our local Loudon County Community. The United Way contributes to more than twenty nonprofit organizations that benefit our community. Members were invited to designate their donation to a specific organization if they wished in the memo line of their checks. These organizations include:

Congratulations to Friends of the Lenoir City Library!
We are pleased to announce that Friends of the Lenoir City Library was the recipient of our giving circle donation at our last meeting on July 22. The Lenoir City Public Library is an important part of our community. The librarian is working hard to make sure our public library contributes to the literacy and health of all of our community, especially the children in our community. They were so grateful for our donation.
When our first round of donations was dropped off, our leadership watched as a father read books to his daughter on his lap in the Children’s Area and librarian, Susan Dorsey, said,

Congratulations to Lenoir City High School Band Boosters!
We are pleased to announce that the Lenoir City High School Band Boosters was the recipient of our giving circle donation at our last meeting on March 4. The band boosters are vital to keeping to cost of band participation to a much lower fee than surrounding schools for our Lenoir City High School students. The band boosters hope to be able to use our donation to purchase new or gently used concert instruments and to continue to help support both the marching and concert bands at Lenoir City High School. If you missed the meeting, please send your check made out to Lenoir City Band Boosters to our p.o. box by next Friday.

We are pleased to announce that the recipient of our September 17, 2018 giving circle was The Salvation Army of Loudon County. The Salvation Army of Loudon County is a local service center, run by local volunteers, who provides assistance to members of our community in their time of need.

Announcing a Change!
100 Women Loudon County will be holding 3 meetings per year instead of the originally scheduled 4. We feel this arrangement will help our membership grow and will hopefully lead to larger numbers and bigger donations to the amazing nonprofit organizations in our community. This means that membership in 100 Women Who Care Loudon County is now a $300 per year commitment- $100 to be donated directly to the winning nonprofit at each meeting.

Highland Park PTO’s new playground equipment has been delivered and unloaded! Our members’ donations helped to ensure that these children in our community have a safe place to play!
Congratulations to Kids First: Child Advocacy Center
We are happy to announce that the recipient of our April 30, 2018 gift was The Child Advocacy Center of the Ninth Judicial District. The mission of the Child Advocacy Center is: “To Heal the Pain of Child Abuse.” Thank you to our 100 Women Who Care members for making our community stronger by helping our youngest members!

Congratulations to Highland Park Elementary PTO
We are happy to announce the winner at our January 29, 2018 Giving Circle was Highland Park Elementary PTO! Highland Park plans to use donations to complete the funds needed to replace damaged playground equipment as well as purchase ADA compliant equipment for their newest special needs classroom.

We are thrilled to announce the recipient of our first ever 100 Women Who Care Giving Circle was Young Life Loudon County. Young Life will use our donations to help send students to came who would not otherwise be able to afford it. We are so excited to see the impact our members will have on the community through our amazing nonprofit organizations!
